This photo is of Hall Ings in the centre of Bradford taken in the early 1970's. In the photo you can see the road hasn't been widened yet also in the back ground you can see the Central Library and next to the Library is what would become the National Media Museum, and you can also see the Skating Rink too on Little Horton Lane.

This photo is of Norfolk Gardens and the back of the Town Hall Bradford taken in the early 1970's. This photo was taken before the Bridge leading to what would be the New Interchange was built.

This photo is of Braodway in the Centre of Bradford taken in the early 1970's. Again you can see the Electric Board and the Cine Centre in the background, and to the side is British Home Stores. Today none if this exists anymore, it as all been demolished to make way for new developments.

This photo is of Princes's Way part of the new Ring Road Complex, the work was started and completed by the mid 1970's. As you can see from the photo you can see the Alhambra Theatre and the Odeon Cinema and at the far side if the Odeon is Thornton Road, the you can see the Anglia Building Society.

This photo is of Foster Square taken in the early 1970's. As you can see from this particular photo you can see more of the Electric Board and the Cine Centre. By the look of the photo with the car's and the blue buses it was most definetly taken in the late 1960's or early 1970's.

This photo is of Ormonde Drive in Allerton Bradford, the photo was taken sometime in the early 1970's. The flat's at the end of the street are no longer there.

This photo is of Ivegate in Bradford taken in the late 1960's or early 1970's. As you can see from the photo Ivegate is a steep hill, it as a gradient of 1 in 10. It was once said by a national newspaper at the time that you burn more calories going up such a slope it 5 MPH than it was to do heavy manual work or play a football match. But Bradfordians are a hardy lot and can be seen shopping up and down Ivegate daily.
Also in the photo you can see on your right the Unicorn Pub, and on your left you can see the most popular Butchers Dewhursts, any a Christmas Eve in the past it as not been unusual to see customers queuing down Ivegate just to buy their famous pork pies.
