click here for larger imageThis photo is of Idle Village Bradford taken in the 1970's. At around this period of time small villages like this one in Idle were going through some changes, in the photo the cobbled area was new and it was to become part of a bigger pedestrian area, when a new road was to be built around the village to take away the through traffic. In the photo in the back ground you can see the pub the Oddfellows this was situated at the bottom of the High Street.
40 years later, still looks the same!
