These flats and maisonettes would have had 2/3 bedroom to accommodate young families of the time. During the 1950's and early 1960's there were a number of council developments been built in the Bradford area these areas consisted of Parkside, Holme Wood, Bierley, Delf Hill, and other area's in Bradford.
